The fairy-tale world of Chingiz Akhmarov

Chingiz Akhmarov was known not only for his paintings, but also for his miniatures. The Qand team explored his work from a new perspective — through the lens of Bukhara miniature art — in collaboration with miniature artist Saida Jalilova. In our own miniature, we set out to symbolically unite several of Akhmarov’s iconic pieces: the triptych “Dancing beauties”, “Mother and child”, “Farhad and Shirin”, “Girl with a mirror”. We were also eager to include a portrait of the artist himself — captured in the act of creation, with silhouettes of his works subtly emerging on the canvas in his hands. The boxes available in two formats — of 12 and 35 handcrafted chocolates. This artistic interpretation reflects the vision of the Qand team and does not claim originality or authorship of Chingiz Akhmarov’s works.
